D<>ubts regarding the powers of the Arbitration Court to de-register a re* catcitra'nt union under the Arbitration Act were expressed by the Deputy President (Mr. Webb), who adjourned an application to dc-register the Seamen’s Union. It was agreed to state-a case for the judgment of the High Court.

SCHOONER WRECKED. MELBOURNE, May 22.
Wreckage is washing ashore along the coast. It is believed to~belorig to the schooner Liabeeta, which is thirtyfive dav s out on a voyage- from Spencer’s Gulf, South Australia, to Melbourne.
