(Out Own Correspondent). Another Chrysanthemum Show, has come and gone and local growers must be congratulated, on the wonderful advance made during the last season or two. Not only, has the quality of the blooms improved, but the numbers have increased very considerablyindeed the one fault of the show was that the exhibits were rather crowdedAnother jnaitpr where an improvement might be' .effected is in the staging of the blooms. A properly ed stand is not difficult to make and the extra effect obtained is well-worth the trouble.' The ' ladies in charge of the various stalls report. good business and the show of 1925 will long be , remembered- as the best to date. During, the evening session, a short/.concert programme -was rendered, th/e following ladies and gentlemen, taking part ’: ' Mr D. Douglas , (song), (reffitafion), Miss G- Cressey (song), Mr F.' Smith (song), and Misses McLaughlan- r arid . Duncan (dance). Miss Pound presided at the piano, .while Pipe r Hay supplied the music.for the Scotch dances. ' The' are .busy putting the finishing* touches on the Bridge of Rememora'nce and -it is. hoped that everything; will be finished for the opening ..ceremony on June 3. .It is understood that the unveiling will bp performed (by. Rev. A. J. Farnell, one time "'vi'ear pf this parish,, and the original ■. chairman of the Memorial Committee! , The roadway over the bridge has, been raised almost three feet., and.nqw some hundreds of loads of filling will be required for either end,. ~ Wlieri finished, the road will be much more level and a nasty dip removed. ..

All.work in the township.was suspended yesterday in memory, of our lath Prime Minister.
