Taken at Greymouth at' 9 a.m. today—Wind, sou’-westerly; barometer, 30.15; thermometer, 46; tides, good; bar, considerable swell. Rainfall spts. THE WEATHER. For 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day “The indications are for southerly moderate to strong breezes, with a westerly tendency. The weather will probab'y be cool and changeable, with a hard frost to-night. The barometer will rise slcwly. Sea, considerable swell on the coast, but it is expected to decrease shortly. Tides good.”
