DOCKERS' STRIKE
HOUR OF REPENTANCE. (Australian and N.Z. Cable Association.! LONDON, July 25. The shipowners have refused to negotiate with the unofficial leaders of the dockers. This snub is expected to affect the strikers, who are growing ■ impatient with the unofficial leaders. The dockers at Tilbury have mostly resumed work. There were exciting scenes at the i Royal Albert Docks, when thousands - of strikers attempted to prevent twenty 1 five meat vans entering the docks. The ( police were forced back, until rein- * forcements rushed up in motor cars, s and lorries, succeeded in dispersing i the crowds. The vans entered the t docks by another route. <
