ARAHURA STOCK SALE
For the fortnightly fixture of fat stock held at the Arahura yards yesterday there was an entry of 105 fat sheep and 65 head of iat cattle, which were offered to the usual attendance of buyers. Coinpetiti-u maintained the same level for prices as those ruling at the last sale, tiie sheep again selling particularly well. Messrs AV. Jeffries and Co. sold as follows : — , r Sheep.—On account of Mr W. Diedrich, 40 fat hoggets at 30/, 16 shorn lambs at 20/6. On account uf Air N. Q’Brien, 52 fat ewes at 32/9; on account of a client, 60 fat wethers at 38/, 40 ditto, at £2. . Cattle. —On account of Air AV. Diedrich, 3 bullocks at £9 10/, 2 at £9 2/6, 2 ditto, at £8 2/6, 1 heifer at £7 15/, 2 at £6 10/, 3 at £6, 2 at £6 2/6 ; on account of Air J. Collett 1 steer at £fi 5/, 1 at £5, 2 at £6 5/. 5 heifers at £6, 4' at £4 10/, 1 at £5 17/6, 3 at £5 10/, 5 at £5 5/; on account of Air E. F. Wall, 2 bullocks at £9 17/6, 2 steers at £7 2/6, 1 cow at £6 16/.
