The execution was for her action in concealing certain sacred religious vessels, to prevent them, falling into the hands of the Bolsheviki. She was informed that in view of her father s services, a petition for pardon would be favourably considered. The girl however, replied : “I cannot accept a pardon from the bloody hands of the executioners of the Russian people. She was therefore shot. BUYCOTT OF SWISS. (“Times” Service.) LONDON, June 23. The “Times’” Riga correspondent reports: The Soviet has proclaimed strict economic boycott of Switzerland, on the ground of the Swiss refusal to give satisfaction in connection wiih A-orewsky’s assassinator. Trade relations have been suspended, and the Soviet rcpi-osenlatives have, been recalled. The Swiss are refused admission to Russia, except the proletarians.
