■ ~ ■' 1 I o—l i POLLARD’S PICTURES. Tho wonderful spectacular drama “Lying Lips” will be screened by Pollard’s for the last time in the Opera House to-night. On to-morrow Friday and Saturday evenings and at the matinee on Saturday afternoon Alice Joyce the popular charming Vitagraph star appears in “The Vice of Fools.” Miss Joyce is supported by an all star cast including Robert Gordon, and the play gives the stars great scope for some very line work. The picture delineates life as it is and concerns in particular a young couple, who like hundreds of others, allow their infatuation to get tho bettor of common sense Then complications ensue from which extrication becomes difficult. The picture has a very original plot and is deferent from the average feature in that its -climax comes as a marked . surprise.

On to-morow (Friday) evening Pollard’s will present at Mandi’s Hall, Blackball, a most powerful double star attraction consisting of “The Marriage of William Ashe,” taken from Mrs. Humphrey Ward’s famous work and starring May Allison in one of the best pictures of the year. The second huge picture to be shown is"entitled “Passion Fruit” starring the wonderful dancer Doraldina. In “Passion Fruit” Doraldina gives a wonderful portrayal of living passion and smouldering hate in tho congruous Topics, a theme of brute force and clashing for supremacy with a woman’s will.
