SOUTH CANTERBURY SCHEAIE. (Per Press Association.) TIMARU, ALarch 23. Tho Hon. Air. Coates, who arrived here this afternoon from the sout,.., discussed with the Borough Council tho supply of electricity. He stated that if the officers’ figures were correct, .South Canterbury could be supplied from Lake Coleridge within a comparatively short time. The Minister urged the formation of a Power Board to jreticulate and retail the supply. Mr. Coates went north after 'The meeting.
