A destroyer collided with Submarine H 42 during manoeuvres off Gibraltar The latter lost all hands, twenty-two in number. FURTIIEII PARTICULARS. Recd. 1.25 p.m. LONDON, Marcii 23. 1142 was rising to the surface twentyyards from the destroyer Versatile, which was steaming at twenty-seven knots. She cut the submarine in lyaif. The Versatile stood by for hours, but there were no signs of survivors.
