The attention of those desirous of purchasing household furniture effects of a particularly good nature is drawn to a preliminary advertisement in this issue by Nancarrow and Co., auctioneers, who advise that they will be selling on Wednesday, 29th, at his residence, Shakespeare Street, on account of Mr. F. C. Wade the contents of his well appointed 7roomed house. Fuller details will be advertised later. Intending competitors for the big Easter Sports meeting in Gre.vinouth are notified in our advertising columns that entries close next Saturday, March 25, with the secretaries, Messrs G. E. Perkins and J. Fairburn, Box 97, Greymouth, and from whom entry forms are procurable. Entries for the road race from Greymouth to Paroa on March 25, close
on Wednesday, March 22nd. A. gold medal for the fastest time, in addition to substantial prizes for the placed men, will be given lor the event. 1
