The rate of interest will be six per cent. The minimum price per £lOO will be £96. The loan is to be repayable in either 15 or thirty years at the option of the New Zealand Government. SCHOOL-BOOKS. PALMERSTON N., June 27.--The Palmerston North Chamber of Commerce to-day supported the protest of the Booksellers' Association against the proposal of the Minister of Education to supply school books through the Education Boards. WOOL COMMITTEE. WELLINGTON, June 27.—The Wool Committee will meet this week.
