F.G.F. EKO. TENNENT. HONORED. PRESENTATION Bi r MEMBERS. At the conclus.on of business at the usual fortnightly meeting of the Star of the West Ledge last evening a presentation was made to Fast Grand 1 resident, Bro. John Tennent. . Recognising tlie g ood work thaC secretary Bro. Tennent has always done for Druidis&n and which culminated in las being elected Grand President of the North Island Union of Druids, which office he relinquished quite recently, the members decided to present their Brother with a token of the esteem in which he has always been held by them. In making the presentation, A.D. Bro. H. Herring eulogised Bro. Tennent' s efforts at all times to further the interests of Friendly Societies, making special mention of his services to the Bruidic Order during the time he presided over the Grand At that time, consequent on the Great War, many serious problems had to be faced by the Grand Lodge Executive and it was worthy of note that Bro. Tennent successfully controlled the Union and made it possible for Druid ism to emerge, triumphant from a very hazardous situation. The ArchDruid then handed Bro. Tennent a very handsome P.G.F.'s jewel, suitably inscribed, and expressed the hope that he would be long spared to wear the jewel and continue to promote the welfare of the Order. '
