ENGINE DRIVERS.
The quarterly examination for enginedrivers' certificates was held at the office of the Inspector of Machinery (Mr P. Mackenzie) and the following aro the names of the successful candidates:—
First Class Stationary Engine-drivers— H. A. Pasfield, Blackball. Second Class—A. Palmer, Hakarere; J. P. Walker, Waimangaroa; G. J. Willis, Reefton. Locomotive and Traction —P. Keating, Arnold Siding; J. R. Chamberlain, Bu Ru; J. R. Metcalf, Hokitika. Twelve candidates presented themselves for examination.
