CENTRAL YARDS, PRESTON ROAD.
The entries comprised 33 prime bullocks and heifers and about one dozen vealerg. Messrs Mark Sprot and Co. report their sale as follows : We sold on behalf of clients—2B prime quality bullocks from £2O to £l6 12s 6d, 6 heifers from £l4. to_ £lO 17 s 6d, 5 medium bullocks at £l3 ss, 1 vealer at £4, 1 vealer at £3 ss. No fat sheep were yarded, and in consequence many butchers will have to go without supplies of mutton this week.* G. W. Moss and Co. report as follows: —1 bullock at £ll 12s 6d, 1 heifer at £8 ss, 11 vcalers from £4 17, s Gd to £2 18s 6d; 120 sheep were sold privately at market rates.
