At the Opera House to-morrow (Wednesday) evening only Pollards will present that clever artist of artists, Clara Kimball Young aa "Helen Marie," the beautiful Nihilist Queen in the great picturisation by the Vitagraph Company of the world-famed novel, "My Official Wife." Clara Kimball Young is supported by a cast of stars without parallel in filmdom. Harry Morey, Roger Lytton, Earle Williams, Mary Anderson and Louise Beaudet form a unique support of , great strength. A startling light is thrown on the Russian police methods of dealinsr with Nihilists and other revolutionaries. The charm of a child and the brain of a diplomat is the description given of the Nihilist-Queen, as pourtrayed by Clara Kimball Young. The dressings and setting's of this great picture are superb, and tb e ball room scene is cne of outstanding magnificence. The interest is ; well sustained throughout the play for it is full of possibilities, and no guess can be made of wha.t. is to happen next in this story of surprises and surprise. The main attraction at the Peerless Pictures on Wednesday is a Metro wonderpla,y, entitled "Destiny; or the Soul of a Woman," and* the 'latest Paramount ArbuoWle comedy in two reels, "Fatty Out West," featuring the king of comedy, Fatty ArbiTckle. MINERS' HALL, RUNANGA. Emily Stevens in "Destiny; or the Soul of a Woman'' will be screened- at the Peerless Pictures in th e above hall on Thursday evening. Children under the age of 18 will not be admitted. WESTPORT PIERROTS. To-night at the Opera House toe We-t----poit Pierrots will gr\e a grand variety entertainment, and ail lovers of music should not iiii.ss this opportunity of hearing them. Ail tastes are catered for in tins talented pajrty, the. entertainment is a sparkling one and there is ample variety. The rirst part of the programme is taken up by the "Pierrots," lourteoii in number. The opening item is a pianoforte duet "Finale to Symphone in G" by Meadafnes Wilson and McWha, followed by a chorus, "The Party," by the Pierrots, part song, "In Absence," by the Pierrots. A silo, "Tatters" will be rendered by Mis 3 Crabb, A.T.C.L., and th's is followed by a dainty dance by the six Pierrettes who accompany the party. Th'next item is a solo and chorus, ''Love's own Kiss," by Miss B. Hobbs and the Pierrots. A solo, "Hush-my Little One" by Miss R. Doyle, followed by a favorite part song "Old Mother Hubbard," by the Pierrots.. Miss C.idzow will then render a monologue and this will be followed by another dance "Tarantelle" by the Pierrettes. _ The concluding item of the first part will be a chorus "Hunting Song" by the whole party. The second part of the programme, when the Pierrots appear as Yankees, will open with a pianoforte duct by Mesdames Wilson and McWha. followed by a chorus "Yankee Doodle" by the Pierrots. Miss K. Pain and the Pierrota will, give a song and chorus "Loveland,' 'which is followed by a part song, "Italian Salad" _ (after the form of a finale to an Italian opera) by Miss Doyle .and the Pierrots. This item is the most enterprising one of the programme. The Pierrots will next give a dance "Ballet Feyette." which will be followed bv a trio. "Clare Killed a Cat," by Mrs Riley and Misses Pain and Taylor. Miss Crabb will render n beautiful solo, "April Morn." The next item >s a very welcome part song, "Moon Man," rendered by the Pierrots, and followng on is a solo and chorus "When Sammy sang the Marsellaise" by Mrs Riley and the Pierrots. The programme will be concluded by a solo "Ma Dusky Maid" by Miss Taylor and a final chorus by the party. The programme is a good and varied one, as it allows everyone to be pleased. The performance will not he prolonged. Good houses have been obtained wherever the performance has been given, and we can assure all music-lovers that there is a twnt in store for thorn.
