BOXING NOTES.
(13y "Looker-on.")
It is now some months since the last tourney held under the auspices of the local Association, and West Coast fans are beginning to ask when the next of these hitherto successful functions is to eventuate.
Frank O'Neill, the lad who put up such a fine performance at the last tourney, is willing to meet any 9st 71b. man in the Dominion in a fifteen-round professional bout, Frank stipulating that the decision should be fought under the auspices of the Greymouth Boxing Association.
The West Coast has good reason to be proud of its aspirants for honours in the. fistic arena, and should O'Neill's challenge find an acceptor, it can bo expected that another tournament will eventuate at an early date. The Association have several offers asking for bonis to be arranged between some of the best known New Zeal an ds pugalists.
