H. North, .only s male assistant at the school. Counsel pointed out that the Board of - Education declined to appeal, and the committee was forced to ask for an extension of time till the end of the year. The Chairman (Mr. H. W. Bishop) said counsel asked them to approve the principle of the committee going over the head of the Education Board 1 , which was consti-, tided to authorise these matters, and whoso representations wore hound to have weight. Cnunol hold that a. competent Military Service Board could find that the Board of Education had not properly considered tho matter. Eventually an extension till October was; allowed.
