Professor Goddard Stellenbosch, of the Capetown University, announced the proposed lead of a South ALLun Expedition to Enderby '• and Kemp Islands after the war, for the purpose of undertaking geographical exploration of 2500 miles of the coast line of Antarctica. THE GOLD OUTPUT. LONDON, July IT.—The Gold Producers’ Committee states that the world’s production lias fallen from .£94,700,000 sterling in 1913 to £83,700,000 in 1918, the decrease to the British Empire amounting; to 15 per cent.
