RIFLE SHOOTING

PATRON’S TROPHY. MATCH GREYMOUTH v. KANIERI. The second shoot for the above trophy took place on Good Friday and the match with Kanieri on Easter Monday at Kanieri. Greymouth men were unable to get all their' men away to the southern town. Notwithstanding they had a very pleasant time and were enjoyably entertained by the Kanieri men and Host Head. The shooting was very indifferent throughout. The following are the scores of over 80 in the Patron’s trophy and the scores of the teams’ match, which Kanieri won by 14 points:— GREYMOUTH.
