THE SUN. The sun sets to-day at 5.46 p.m. ; rises to-morrow at. 9.36 a.m. THE MOON. The moon rises ‘to-day at 8.39 p.m. ; sets to-morrow at 6.34 p.m. LOCAL REPORT. The maximum temperature recorded yesterday was 66 degrees, and the mini mum 32. The barometer registered 30.07in5., and the thermometer 5V decrees. The rainfall last month was 6.14 inches, on 14 days, as compared with 11.08 inches in February last year The rainfall for the past 48 hours was 0.48 inches. WEATHER REPORT. Grcymouth—Wind, east, light breeze barometer, 30.07 ; thermometer, 57; tides, moderate ; bar, moderate swell. Westport.—Wind, east, light; barometer, 30.08; -thermometer, 58 degrees. tides, moderate; bar, smooth. WEATHER FORECAST. The indications are for variable and moderate breezes, but easterly winds, moderate, to strong prevailing and veering by east to south. There is a prospect of fair to cloudy weather. Barometer unsteady witli a rising tend encv. Sea and tides moderate.
