WEDDING BELLS.

WILLIAMS—HILL.

St. Saviour's Church, Brunnerton, was the scene of a prety wedding on March 14th, when Frederick Williams, Mayor of Brunnerton, second son of Ml' and Mrs W. Williams, was- united in bonds of holy matrimony to Daisy, fourth daughter of Mr and Mrs R. Hill, of Dobson. The service was impressively conducted by the Rev. J. W. Bloyce. The church was beautifully decorated for the occasion with evergreens and daisies, a wedding bell of the same flowers being suspended, over the happy couple. The bride, who was given away by her brother, entered the church to' the strains of the wedding hymn and was daintily attired in a frock of white crepe de chine with wreath and veil. She also carried a shower bouquet of white daisies and maiden hair. fern. Miss May Hill attended as bridesmaid and was dressed in a pretty white embroidered voile frock with a mob cap of pale pink ninon. She also carried a bouquet of pale pink sweet peas. The bridegroom was supported by Mr Percy Williams as best man. On leaving the church to the strains of the bridal march, played by Miss Kath Frai.klin, cf Greymouth, the happy couple were greeted with showers of confetti and rice.

The guests were entertained at breakfast by the bride's parents, after which the happy couple left by the Otira express en route to Christchurch and South, where the honeymoon will be spent. The bride's travelling costume was of navy cloth, pale blue hat trimmed with pink rose buds.

In honour of the occasion flags were hoisted on the Council Chambers.
