CHRISTCHURCH, September 2G. —ln the Craddock ca.se a, total of ,£1157 -Is fld and a, period of 14 years were involved in the eight charges of theft and fraudulent conversion that were preferred in the Magistrate’s Court to-day against Alfred Ernest Craddock, land agent, Christchurch, whose recent bankruptcy caused considerable public interest. Accused was committed for trial on all charges, bail being allowed in self ,£SOO and two sureties of £SOO each.
