After discussion, in which it- was agreed that the bridge required immediate attention in regard to the re-decking, it was decided that the Engineers (Messrs Higgins and O’Donnell) draw up specifications for the requisite docking to keep the bridge open, and that the contractor for the new structure be asked to give a price therefor. In this latter connection, Mr.. O'Donnell was to-day engaged on the bridge preparing ah estimate of the amount of work to be done.
