ENEMY REPLIES SIMILAR
ROME, September 25. Turkey’s and Bulgaria’s replies to the Pope are similar in form and substance to the Austrian and , German. Vatican advices state that the Central powers' replies only partially correspond with the summaries sent to the Pope beforehand, notably the sections dealing with territorial problems. They have apparently been deleted before publication under military pressure. A Milan paper says that the Rope will shortly enquire verbally at Berlin b>r re plies to his proposals relating to Poland and Belgium, also Alsace and Lorraine.

The “New York Sun’s” Rome correspondent says: The Pope’s new appeal reveals the terms obtained from the Nuncios in Germany and'Austria. The present Teuton replies arc intended for home consumption. Germany offers a change of Government, with a view of meeting President Wilson’s views.
