It will conic as a, surprise and disappointment to the public and particularly to their old and valued customers, to learn from the advertisement in this issue that the well-known popular, and reliable old-established firm of Win. Holder am Sons, grocers and seedsmen, have decided owing to war conditions to close up their premises on October 31st. The whole ot their valuable stock of groceries seeds, produce crockery, shop fittings, horses, carts, harness, etc., must be syld during the next four weeks. This is an oppoi iunity for obtaining cheap provisions etc. that rarely comes along, and will pro\e a boon to the public in these times of high prices All goods arc to be sold tor splash only. No order will be executed without the money. The firm extent their appreciation to their past customers. and especially to those who have supported them consistently for years past. All accounts owing to them must he paid b v October 31st. and accounts against the firm must bo rendered at once.
