RAILWAY ACCIDENT

While a. train containing - New Zealanders was standing- on an up-line at Beerferrers some left their carriages and crossed the line. A passing- express train caught and killed nine. ROW IT OCCURRED. In the railway accident near Plymouth nine New Zealanders were killed and three seriously injured. The nine were mostly cut to pieces and only identified by their discs- The men went to the rear of their stationary train, where rations and stores were served. The express suddenly came round a curve and caught the New Zealanders. The Red Cross workers aboard the train rendered aid. The names of the victims are unobtainable-
