(To.the Editor.) Sir,---Allow me' space to thank "Fro Bono Publico' tor his letter in your paper of 3rd, March. Every ratepayer and user of the water supply must endorse his sound suggestions that it is chiefly a prompt and proper waster scheme for Kcefton that is wanted. I have spent the most of my early life in municipalities, but. think the" county could do justice to the town just as well as any borough, The borough, of course, does more direct benefit to the town, though I am more in favour of the County. iSut this lack of interest by the County authorities to make lie 'town clean and appreciated by visitors, and to supply the residents with an up-to.date water supply has converted me tii support any attempt to make this town a borough.'
