Messrs VV. A. Eutwisle and P. C. Ross, second and extra officers respectively of the Kaituna, have signed off that vessel. Mr. L. G. Smart has signed on the Pa teen a as purser in place of Mr. R. V. Dickey who has gone to Auckland to join the Flora. Mr. W. J. Jnquiery, late of the Mararoa, has joined the Moeraki as assistant purser. Mr. J. A. Owen, chief engineer of the s.s., 'Nikau, has gone ashore.

Captain R. Hart, mate of the Putiki, has taken charge of the vessel in place of Captain W. Wnhlstrom, who has gone ashore on special business. Mr. A. J. Holm has signed on as mate.
