Received this day" at 10.15 a,in. MELBOURNE, This Day. In the House of Representatives, Senator Pearce stated that an average of 43 per cent of the wounded and id ok returned to duty. The rest had to be replaced. To date, 18,974 bad been killed, 3645 were missileg, and 941 made prisoners. VENEREAL PATIENTS. [AUSTRALIAN AND N.Z. Senator Pearce stated that the troop:! abroad suffering from venereal disease were not returned to Australia but sent to special hospitals overseas.
