Forty American's have arrived,. including the Consuls from' Dresden and Hamburg. The latter's- lirst woids were "Thank God 1 am again in a land of-.liberty," He complained that they were subjected to vexatious treatment and .delayed eight .days at Munich, six at Lindau: arid their luggage examined several times. The party were.photographed and X-rayed before crossing the frontier.
