Ho was also requested to stand by a large number of the Reform Party, and, finally, - his candidature hud the joint approval of Mr. Massey and Sir Joseph Ward. “1 understand,” lie added, “that ' neither officially nor unofficially will there bo any opposition to my candidature on the. part of the Reform Party.
