The War Emergency Workers’ Committee - passed a resolution urging the withdrawal of the Registration Bill and the appointment of a Select Committee to consider the redistribution of adults’ suffrage. The Clyde trades sent a "deputation to the Hon. H. J. Tennent against further liquor restrictions in Glasgow, including the closing of hotels at nine o’clock on Saturday night until Tuesday morning, declaring that it would probably cause strikes..
