GREYMOUTH DISTRICT HIGH SCHOOL.
EXAMINATION SUCCESSES
The following successes were gained by the above school during the year 1915 : UNIVERSITY JUNIOR SCHOLARSHIP John Cairney. This is the second University scholarchip won by the school—a remarkable fact, when it is known that no other District High School in the Dominion has ever gained such a scholarship.
SEXTOR NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP George Ernest Francis Wood.
Last year was the first occasion on which senior national scholarships were offered for competition, and it is most creditable, to the school that it annexed the only one that came to the West Coast.
