PARLIAMENTARIANS ARRESTED. [TXMKB AND SYDNEY BUN BE»VIC«B.] LONDON, September 5. The Times’ correspondent at Toronto reports that Sir K. Bobbin, formerly Premier of Manitoba, and Messrs Montague. Howdern and Caldwell, all members of the late Conservative Government, have been arrested for conspiring to defraud in permitting contractors for the new Parliament Buildings to draw large- sums for work which bad not been performed and also for collusion to increase prices under the contract. The arrest is technical, accused consenting to appear in court without compulsion. They were admitted to bail in £IO,GOO.
