Private cabled advice lias been received that Lieut> Alan Adams, of tlie 9tli West Yorks Regiment, a son of Mr and Mrs A: A. Adams, of Greymouth, was woundrd at the Dardanelles on August 7th, receiving a shrapnel wound, in the right thigh. The cable adds that the sufferer has made slight progress since his admission on August 12th to the 19th General Hospital, Alexandria.
