At 9 o'clock this morning the barometer registered 29.98 in., and the thermometer 48 degrees. During the 24 hours ending at 9 a.m. today the rainfall was 0.10 in., making a total of 9.55 in. on fourteen days last month.. Greymouth—Wind, east, light; barometer, 29.98; thermometer, 48; tides, good ; bar, considerable swell. WEATHER FORECAST. The Dominion Meteorologist telegraphed at noon to-day as follows: — The indications are for westerly winds, moderate to strong, prevailing. Tho weather will probably prove cold and showery. There will probably be a hard frost Jo-night. Barometer little move : ment, tides good, sea considerable swell on the coast.
