DEFECTIVE TACKLE
LONDON, June 28.—At the inquest, on the victims of the battleship Monarch mishnp, a verdict was returned that the tackle was defective, but the defect was such as was not discoverable.
COSTLY CLOTHES. NEW, YORK, June 27— What is believed to be the most valuable suit of male attire in the world was brought to New York by Anita Keoch from Stuttgart, Germany. It is valued at 20.UUJ dollars. It was' made for the late mat King Otto of Bavaria. The coat, waistcoat, and trousers were embroidered with gold and silver, and on the coat are said to be one thousand pearly.
