SPEEDING UP. (By Telegraph—Special to the Star) WELLINGTON; T>ns Day. Mr. Scddon has moved for a return showing the number of miles of railway line from Otira to Greymouth unfenced, the number of miles of railwayline unfenced from Greymouth to Hokili'ca, and the cost of erecting fences along the unfenced portions. He has also asked the Minister of Railways when the new timetable for the Clmstchuroh-Hokitika railway service will be fixed, and whether he.will arrange for a faster service between the two places. . : He points out that a lot of time is at present spent along the line from Arthur's Pass to Christchurch and iff an attempt were piade the train colt 1(9 arrive half an hour earlier. , ''.,
