In reply to the No-License Congress deputation, which waited on the Hon. the Premier yesterday urging a reduction required to carry No-License, also asikng that the Bill of last session be introduced early in the present session. Mr. Massey thanked the deputation for the moderation of their views. He said that Parliament would be given an opportunity to deal with the question bv the introduction of a Lieensuing Bill. Tile promise he had given would be kept in the near future. He would move the Bill on Tuesday, and hoped to have it dealt with between the Address-in-lleply and the financial debate. He would not make it a partv question, but would leave every member free to fulfil their pledges. The Premier also referred to the unsatisfactory state of the King Country and said that remedial proposals' would be placed before Parliament.
