"Daniel O'Leary pleaded sruilty to not using a water jet at the Progress Mine on the 26th hist. Mr. Otto Bishop, Inspector of Mines, deposed that he came on the accused boring a dry hole. Mr. Bishop stated that it was a'difficu't offence to sheet home. Defendant stated that it was a vcy flat hole. Did not use the jet to choko the bore. Fined 20s.
