WEDDING
McMAHON-DELACOSTA. A very pretty and popular wedding iwm celebrated at St. Patrick's Church Kumara, on Saturday, April 18th, the contracting parties being Miss DdiaUelacoste and Mr John McMahon, both of Kumara. The ceremony was performed bv the Rev. Father Weed, who also celebrated Nuptial Mass. The bride was given away by Mr J. Rochford and looked extremely pretty in a beautiful tailored costume, with pretty velonr hat to match. She carried a prayer book with white, satin streamers. The bride was attended by Miss O'Hara as bridesmaid *bo' was attired in a beautiful gown of prey charmeuse, with velour hat to mtch. The bridegroom tss attended by Mr E. Burger, who ably carried out the duties of best man. ~ The bridegroom's: present to the bride was a beatifulgold .bangle and brooch arid to the..;bridesmaid a god brooch. The bride?* present to the bridegroom was a gold.sovereign case. Sn leaving the church the happj couple were, greeted with showers of rice. ' After the ceremony the guests partook of I hearty wedding breakfast.where the usual leasts were duly honored Af- , ter the breakfast the bridal party left per motor car, for the north The presents wre numerous and costly, including a number of cheques.-Kumara Times.
