HOCKEY
WEST COAST ASSOCIATION. A meeting of the West Coast Association was held last niirht. Present: .Messrs S. White (chair). J. Thomas. A. Thomas,. H. Herring, and W. Prina. A letter was received from Mr D. Maiison. Christchurch, stating he could not act as delegate to ttip Association on the New Zealand Council.—Mr Manson's resignation was received with regret, and a vote of thinks accorded him for past sarvices. It was reso'veil that Mr PI. G. Wake. East Chn'.-tcl.urdi. be appointed delegate. The matter of school competitions was left in thn hands o*. the secretary and treasurer to report nu at next meeting. It was decided to draw up the fixtures for the first round at the next meeting on Monday next. Correspondence in regard to the British ladies' tour was held over till next meeting.
