TO-DAY'S RESULTS. (By Telegraph—Special to the "Star.") REEFTON, This J Jay. There is perfect weather for the Hoefton Jockey Club's meeting. A large number of visitors are present from Grey Valley, Greyrnouth, Hokitika. Otira and Westport, and ihe attendance'is larger than at any previous autumn meeting. Mr. Patterson (Stipendiary Steward) is present. Results : TELEGRAPH HANDICAP, five furlongs.— Moreykoff (9.12). - 1 Rurik (10.2) 2 Goldfinch (8.5) 3 Also started—Missile 10.1 and Gold Battery 7.12. The field got away to a good start. Moreykoff soon took the leading which ho held throughout, winning bv three length's from Rurik. Time 1.4 i-5. BOATMAN'S HANDICAP, six furlongs.— Ha tana (7-9) 1 Royal. Marine (9.10) 2 t Impulsive (9.7) ' 3 Also ran—Jenny Colleen 8.2 and The Nut 7.12. The field got away to a good start. Jenny Colleen and Hatana at once took the lead. Hatana won easily by three lengths. Entering the straight' Royal Marine came with a splendid effort, but was unable to overtake the leader. Time 1.18.
