BY TELEGEAPH —PEE PEESB ASSOCIATION CHRISTCHURCH, January 28. ) At the Addington live stock market . there were fairly large entries of stock, . the yarding of fat sheep showing an increase. Fat cattle were rather duller of sale, but prices were unchanged. Store sheep sold quite up to last week's rates, the supply not being quite equal to li.e demand. Fat lambs showed a slight drop in values, and the fat sheep sale opened well, aged and inferior lines being the only class that were easier. There was no change in the prices of pigs. Store Sheep.—Forward rape lamos 15s to 15e 9d, extra 16s 3d to 19s 6d, oihws 10s to 14s 9d, two-tooth wethers 14s M to 15s lid, two,- four and six-tooth >ss fo 16s 6d, two and four-tooth ewes 76s to 13s 6dj four, six and eight tooth 15s 3d to lfj- 2d, sound mouths 15s to 16a ou. Fat Lambs.—Tegs sold at 20s to Lis 11 J, average freezing weight 16s 0.1 to 13s 6d light and unfinished 15s 3d to los. Fat Sheep.—Prime wethers 21s to 23s 11-1, others" 15s 6d to 20s 6d, n-rmo wfU'ers 15s lid, prime ewes 19s to 2.~5, others 14s to 18s 6d. Fat Cattle.—Steers £8 to £ll 10s, extra to £l4 ss, heifers £6 to £lO 7s 6d. Cows £6 j ti- to £lO. Stoie Cattle—Yearlings £1 17s G.l, fifteen to eighteen-month sorts £ 31s to r '3 11?, two-year steers £ll 10s to i.ll 16s (•!ia latter being passed), two-year '•.'•frrs £4 6s to £4 7s, two and a-half year steers £5 15s, three-year steers £7, t'lieo-jc'ir heifers £6, four-year steers £B, and dry cows £2 5s to £4 15s. Dairy cows made £3 5s to £ll ss. Fat Pigs.—Choppers 55s to 755, heavy baconers 58s to 665, extra to 70s, lighter sorts 47s 6d to 555, these prices representing s£d per lb; heavy porkers 42s to 455, lighter sorts 35s to 40s, -equivalent to Gjjd per lb. Store Pigs.—Medium classes made 20s to 38s, and small sorts 22s to 28s. Weaners for which there was a very fair demand realised 14s to 19s.
