His many friends will regret to hear of the indisposition of Mr James Noble, of Reefton, handicapper for the Inangahua Racing and Trotting Clubs. y A cable message from London states that Lord and Lady Liverpool have sailed for New Zealand. They were farewelled by the Hon. T. Mackenzie, the Dominion’s High Commissioner. Mr Carpenter, secretary to the Rangitikei Sawmillers’ Association, and Mr \yhyte, secretary to the Taranganutu Sawmilling Company, and also of the Wellington Racing Club, left this morning by the Otira express en route to Wellington.
