Mr Thomas Moore, of Blackball, advertises a six-roomed cottage, &c., for sale. Members of the Lazar Lodge are notified that the meeting advertised for to-night will not be. held. The Moonlight dredge was sold privately this morning by Messrs G. W. Moss and Co., at a price satisfactory to the vendors. Tenders are inserted in our advertising columns for the supply and deliverv of hardwood sleepers for the Public Works Department, Wellington. The skating which was postponed on Friday night owing to the benefit concert' will be held to-night in the Star Hall at 7.30. Floor in good order, and skaters to 5 provide their own skates. , The secretary, Mr H. Hahn, of Mr Geo. Thompson’s benefit fund r.V Kokin, requests all subscription lists to be forwarded to him by Friday next. Unless this is done, it is impossible to give the public, i correct statement. Elsewhere the Gre VMbdsn Industrial Society shareholders a£e finally; reminded that the appropriation of £3OO will taka 1 place at 8 p.m. in the auction room, Mark Sprot and Co.’s new buildings.
