POLICY OF THE DOMINIONS. LORD HALDANE PROPHETIC. LONDON, June 11. Speaking at a banquet, Lord Haldane, Minister of Uar. made an interesting reference to defence. The dominions, he said, were organising for war on the same lines as Britain so disposed as to protect the dominions, but the time would come when the overseas would have to organise their own military defences. That meant that the Empire would become by far the nost powerful military and naval nation com bined the world had ever seen.
