GREY MAGISTRATE’S COURT.

THURSDAY, JUNE 20th., 1912.

At the Magistrate’s Court this morning Henry Gibbous was charged by the police with being drunk and also with resisting the police when executing the arrest of accused at the junction of Hospital and Herbert Streets last evening at about 10.10 o’clock. Accused pleaded guilty to the first but denied the second charge. After hearing the evidence of the police. His Worship! convicted on botli charges and fined the accused £1 or seven days on the first count and £2 10s or fourteen days on the second countMichael Lynch was charged with inI citing Gibbons to resist the police wnee ' being arrested by Constable Dillon. Mr. Sargent appeared for the accused (who pleaded not guilty) and asked I for an adjournment. This case was adjourned till to-mor-row morning.
