' V The election to fill the-vacancy eaiused by- the resignation of Mr Kear was tfii first business, Mr, T. Barry being declared elected. Air Barry took ms seat and was welcomed by the chairman. Tba newly-elected membqr suitably acknowledged the. reception. *' W. Bowman,’ .of the Kohinoor Club, was classified as a; fourth grade playqr. It was agreed that the Junior and rre- , sident’s fixtures be, followed out as arranged at a previous meeting, and that the matches nf . those grades, postponed from last Saturday," be deferred till the end" of the present.round. It was resolved tliat the matches Grushin gton v. Rovers at Orojrtadah, and Reefton v. Athletic, at Reefton,- be played, on Saturday next ,and that match Reefton v. Rovers b« held in the meantime. , i ■
