AN APPEAL FROM THE WARDEN’S COURT. F. GILBERT v. G. J. ROBERTS. Before His Honor Justice Denniston this morning, an appeal against the decision of the Warden in the Kumara Court, in the case of F. Gilbert v. G. J. Roberts, was commenced. Sir Arthur Guinness and Mr Murdoch appeared for the respondents, and Messrs Joyce aiid Byrne for the appellants. This case concerns a timber reservation area, formerly held by G. J. Roberts, near Kumara, but cancelled by the Warden as d result of objections thereto by F. Gilbert, Mr Gilbert being declared the first applicant for the forfeited area. The case 'has been well ventilated in the local press and by the publishing of the full decision of the Warden.
